Cherry Creek School District is in the news again for its high academic standards and test scores. Twenty seniors from Cherry Creek School District High Schools achieved the distinguished academic honor of scoring a perfect score on either the ACT or SAT college admissions test in 2017. TWENTY! According to the district, only approximately one-tenth of one percent of the nearly 2 million total students who take the test each year will earn a perfect score. Cherry Creek High School led the pack, by far, with 16 seniors receiving a perfect score on one of the two tests. One of these kids earned a perfect score on both tests, the ACT and SAT. Cherokee Trail High School, Grandview High School and Overland High School were also represented.
